Her educational nonfiction book for teenagers, Hate Crimes In America, was published by ABDO Publishing.

Her nonfiction magazine article “Weird Sleep Habits of Birds” was published in Fun for Kidz magazine.

Melissa recently worked with a website designer to update her website, so it is now “mobile-friendly” and has some other “high-tech” features that continue to confound this self-avowed “technological dinosaur.”

If you have a chance, please take a look and let her know what you think of the new site!

  1. Thank you Evelyn, I appreciate your support. One type of writing I have not done is creating puzzles like you do, and I must say that I had so much fun solving your recent puzzles in Fun for Kidz that I am tempted to try it sometime! I realize how difficult creating these gems is, so I’m sure I will not be a competitive risk 🙂

  2. Thank you for featuring me in the Club Spotlight, Suzanne!

  3. Congratulations on all your publications, Melissa! It’s especially impressive that you’re successful in a variety of venues. Best wishes to you for continued success.
